BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Jackie Bradley Junior's the ALCS MVP despite only having three hits in 15 at-bats in the series, but they were big--two homers and a double to help him to nine RBI--a third of Boston's ribbies as a team. That was really something.

"It's an honor, it's an honor," he said. "There's a lot of guys in this clubhouse who're deserving of it."

Stop being so humble. What was his reaction when you found out about the honor?

"Speechless," he said. "It's amazing, I have amazing teammates, amazing staff. Everybody's just such a blessing."

There he goes again.

Bradley's the fifth Sox player to win ALCS MVP, along with Koji Uehara, Josh Beckett, David Ortiz, and Marty Barrett. How's he feeling at the plate?

"Felt good," he said. "It kind of all comes down to having a game plan, and obviously executing. You can have a game plan but sometimes it might not work out. As a batter, you want to swing at good pitches. You want to swing at pitches you can handle."

Individual accolades are nice, but Bradley has one thing in mind.

"This was the goal, everyone had the same mindset, and that was winning," he said. "No egos, nobody chasing accomplishments--winning, that's the only accomplishment we want. Winning it all."

Game One of the World Series is Tuesday.
