BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Chad Johnson—or, Chad Ochocinco, if you'd prefer—had a great NFL career. Eleven years, more than 11,000 yards, nearly 800 catches, and 67 touchdowns.

But, he stunk in his sendoff season in New England in 2011, and he knows it.

Johnson only hauled in 276 yards on 15 catches in 15 games, and only one TD.

Believe it or not, that year's still occasionally on the retired receiver's mind.

Yesterday, he went out for lunch, and posted a picture of the bill. The charge was about 91 dollars, but Johnson left a $276 tip, along with a message.

"I only had 276 yards with the Patriots, which was really horrible."

Johnson actually enjoys periodically leaving tips inspired by random career stats.

Last July, he left a $260 tip on a $140 bill in reference to his 260 yards against the Chargers during a game in 2006.

He's always been a character.
